Putalong Cup

A fabulous day yesterday for the second round of the Putalong Cup.
After coming second in the inaugural round, you will be pleased to know that Avalon triumphed by a margin of 8 shots. All bowlers thoroughly enjoyed themselves. We have definitely found some new bowling friends thanks to Bret Harris’s efforts.
A third round will be played at Putney before the end of the year. Bret will discuss with Putney the possibility of expanding the format so that more bowlers can compete.

Minor Singles Final

Both bowlers in fine form and on the green yesterday for some competitive “match practice”.
Social bowls as usual.

Matildas V France

The Bowlo will be broadcasting live Women’s World Cup Quarter Final between these amazing women’s football teams. Hang around for a beer or wine and enjoy the match with some friends.
Excitement is assured, and hopefully the Matildas can overcome the 5th rank Les Bleues and make it to their first semi final.
