In an unbelievable match on Saturday, Cath Mazey won 31/27 over Steve Andersen in a superb, high quality match worthy of any final at any level.The last 5 ends were simply stunning, with each bowler lifting their performance to another level attempting to get the last few shots.

Too difficult to accurately describe it was as simple as, when Steve held shot, Cath took them away. When Cath held shot, Steve took them away. The final bowl – Steve down 27/30, Cath with 2 for the match, Steve’s only option a run at the cluster, hit the jack and move it to his 2 catchers to make it 30/30.

He delivers, perfect weight, honing in on the target, closer, closer, then………misses by less than an inch!
